Manufacturing is one of copping, grinding, and finally blending powdery compounds. Product is then discharged from mixers into drums that are rolled by hand to a scale for weighing. The drums must have a specific net weight so, product is added or removed as required before the drum is capped. The drums are physically rolled up onto pallets for shipping. This job is performed by two men and is 90 % physical.

Four pallet truck scales will be used to fill drums staged on pallets. The cumbersome weighing and loading operation is totally by-passed. The loaded drums are already on pallets and the product is moved directly to the shipping dock.
